Land Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that my work has been created on the unceded lands of the Lenape, Tiohtiá:ke, Chumash and Tongva, Suquamish and Duwamish people. The businesses, people, and artistry I engage with across these regions come from a history and continuum of oppression, displacement, and erasure of these groups. Land acknowlegdement is simply a first step, but one I hope to commit to further efforts for indigenous soveriegnty and landback that I hope I get to see in my lifetime.
